LoLA North Charleston

Just got carry-out, but I wish we could have stayed! The service and atmosphere were fantastic, everyone’s food looked so good! Update: it is also delicious. Fry seasoning is so good, the Po Boy is loaded with shrimp and the servings are more than generous.

The food and drinks was so good. I recommend making a reservation if you want inside seating. We unfortunately did not and had to sit outside and fight the flys.. however when the food came I barely noticed.

Courtney is a great server and helped us with recommendations that were on point. We got the shrimp risotto cake, shrimp basket with remoulade and honey mustard sauce. Sweet potato pecan pie was delicious. It was all amazing and authentic. Reminds us of NOLA. Going to come back soon for sure!

Starting from the top! Right off the bat the staff killed it. Very friendly and gave my 2 daughters fun necklaces. Seated within 5 minutes in a nice outdoor patio setting. The food was outstanding! We had seafood gumbo, Gator bites and a shrimp basket. The seasonings were great and batter was perfect. 10/10 on the food! Only thing I could say was a con was our waters were empty most of the meal but thats okay. Would defiantly be back!

This place was amazing. Was in Charleston for some doctors appointments and decided to stop for some food and choose this specifically for it’s gator bites and crawdads; Even tho we decided on the Cajun smash burgers for our entree which was out of this world !! Amazing staff all worked together to make sure everyone was taken care of. This is the place to go! 10/10 will return.

I don't usually do this but.....I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! It's crazy because i read a few reviews just to see what others thought. But if you guys don't know me yet...you will... I'm going to give you thee unadulterated real about these food establishments... my money and time mean EVERYTHING to me ...if yours don't to you. With that being said....let's review this AMAZING place called Lola's. This place was packed from front to back celling to the floor and i loved every minute of it from the time I hit the curb of block corner it sits on. I got this immediate welcoming vibe upon arrival. I walked in and got lost in EVERYBODY in there their good time. There was this very cool sister who meet you at the door to direct you for a seat or to the bar for to go. So the Customer service was on point...checked box. Then I go to the bar to order, but got disappointed...but only for a brief moment because I was told they stop take out orders at 6-6:30 and it was like almost 8. But then bartender said no worries I got you. I will make you my last one. Can you say checked box again...so i placed my order and waited. To my surprise my wait wasn't that long and out came my food pipping hot. I have to admit i was handled very nicely. After I got my food home I cracked everything open. It was still hot and ready. Everything was seasoned to perfection, cooked to perfection as well. No rubbery shrimp and crawfish...none of that. I enjoyed it all from start to finish. Lola you have earned a space in my heart...until we're able to enjoy each other's company again....i will miss you and think of you much my love....lol.

You don't need to read any online reviews to be assured to eat there. Party of 10 all happy with their food selections. I had just the beans and rice with cornbread and that was sufficient, tasty and filling. Definitely going back to try more dishes.

Fried green tomatoes gator bites....shrimp and grits... The cornbread is to die for. Definitely running back.. should've told them it was my birthday but I would've celebrated all day. Definitely a great place to have birthday dinner.
